World to the West (Switch) Review

Go West, Young Travelers

World to the West is a follow up to Rain Games’ first game Teslagrad, and is even set in the same universe. These two games couldn’t be further apart, though. Death Squared (Switch) Review

Colorful Puzzle Robots!

The Nintendo Switch is no stranger to cooperative puzzle games, having launched with the unconventional Snipperclips. Indie developer SMG Studio introduces its own take on the genre with Death Squared, a local multiplayer puzzler that tasks you with guiding colorful cube robots past cleverly placed deathtraps. Snipperclips (Switch) Review

Cut it Out, Together!

Snipperclips puts a smile on my face. Very few games, even triple-A titles, do that as consistently as this co-op puzzler, developed by SFB Games and published by Nintendo. Ingenious puzzle design gives way to creative problem-solving in an original concept unlike anything I have seen before. Every wacky idea that works brings joyful surprise. Its expressive characters and colorful visuals ooze with charm, organically leading to uncontrolled laughter. It’s rare for a game to make me feel so giddy.

Aonuma desired to see a world that was open to you from the start – one with no single correct track. With The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the team at Nintendo has achieved creating a fully open world that is truly breathtaking.

The theme of Breath of the Wild (BotW) is discovery. As such, I will avoid delving into any specifics, keeping this spoiler-free. Rather, I will offer the gist of what brings this game and all of its moving parts to life.
