Weekly Panda Roundup – 100 YouTube Subs Celebration!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! We had quite a fun, busy weekend at a large anime convention! I have some pictures to share, and have already shared some on my Twitter @MrPanda2002. But I’ll go more in-depth into those conventions we love to attend in upcoming roundups. For now, my wife and I have a special milestone to celebrate!

So without further ado, let’s round ‘em up!

Thank You 100 Subs! V3.png
A huge THANK YOU from our plushies and us!

100 Subscriptions Celebration! THANK YOU!

We have exciting news about our YouTube Channel! We recently hit 100 subscribers, which we were certainly not expecting so soon! This is super crazy for us, and we’re so floored to reach this milestone! We’re incredibly thankful for all of you who have watched, subscribed, liked, shared, and commented on our videos! I still can’t believe how wonderful and kind you all have been through our journey. We hope you know how huge every one of your contributions have been. Your love and support go such a long way, and we can’t thank you enough for your kind words and encouragement!

Upon reaching this milestone, we now have our own personal URL – https://www.youtube.com/mrpanda2002 – I nearly had to hold back tears upon seeing the custom link to our channel. This means so much to me, and I’m grateful to have an identifiable URL that is distinctly ours in the vast land of YouTube.

It’s only been a little over a month since we posted our first videos, Part 1 of our co-op Snipperclips playthrough and my video review of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild below. We still can’t believe how the channel has been growing, and we owe it to you lovely subscribers!

Our Thank You Video featuring Video Game Voice Impressions and Plushies!

We made a video to celebrate and further say “thank you” to you wonderful people, whom we couldn’t do this without! Of course, we injected our own panda fun into it, and said “thanks” in a bunch of fun video game voice impressions! We used our collection of video game plushies leading to an adorable array! We even voiced characters that can’t say actual words like Pokemon, so that may say something about how silly we are in the video! We hope you like our celebration video, and we will keep striving to produce videos that you enjoy!

If you haven’t yet seen our videos and want to see what we’re all about, you can check out the links below! We sincerely hope you enjoy!

Again, because we can’t say it enough. THANK YOU!!!

Snipperclips Co-Op Part 8 – Mad Scientist Pandas

Part 8 our co-op playthrough of Snipperclips is up, and we have finally entered the third world: Silly Science! We put on our lab coats and become MAD SCIENTISTS! Join us as we take chances, make mistakes, and get messy! You get points if you know the reference! So please enjoy the experimental error in our video below!

As always, you can start with the above episode or find the full playlist starting at Part 1 – Stabby Sticks here: http://bit.ly/2nFmc5v

ThankYou

Next Time…!

Thank you so much for reading this issue Weekly Panda Roundup! On Thursday, my wife and I will be uploading a unique playthrough video of a retro classic! We would have put it up last week, but we just had to celebrate with a fun 100 subs video!  I’ll also have a review posted here later this week! Next week, I hope to still have a Weekly Panda Roundup, but if I don’t, it’s because I’m celebrating my birthday!

Have a great week everyone! Until then, see you next time!

How was your weekend? What games are you playing? What did you think of the videos? What were your favorites of our fun video game impressions? Let me know what you think in the comments section below! Thanks for reading and watching!

  1. Thank you, everyone, for helping us reach 100 subs! We are so thrilled about our first big YouTube milestone and to have our own URL! We couldn’t have done it without our faithful supporters, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I hope you enjoy the next episode of Snipperclips, which I edited! I think I’m getting the hang of this thing… Is mad science better than silly science? There’s only way to find out…together!

  2. It’s really awesome that you managed to get to 100 subscribers! Good work.

I’ve been checking out Fire Emblem Echoes. It’s a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden, which I did play briefly, but didn’t get far in. So far, this version’s a major improvement, though it seems a bit more simplistic than Fates (though somewhat understandably, as I don’t think they wanted to deviate from the source material too much). From our perspective, it’s a prequel to Fire Emblem: Awakening, taking place around the same time as the very first game in the series. Indeed, if you look at the continent’s shape in Echoes, you’ll notice something familiar about it.

I think Breath of the Wild ranks up there with Majora’s Mask, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess among the best in the series. I remember exploring and finding shrines until I got 13 heart containers to get the Master Sword. It was then I realized something – that’s exactly how I go about playing the original Zelda. Rather than heading for the first dungeon right away, I get enough heart containers and rupees to get the White Sword and the Blue Ring first. It’s very different from any other game in the series, but I think that bit of experimentation is just what the series needed (not that it was in dire straits).

Anyway, my next review is going to be of another classic SNES game, and I should be finishing it soon.

    1. Thanks a lot! 😀 And thanks for sharing such detailed comments!

I look forward to playing Fire Emblem Echoes. I have the game but haven’t even played it yet due to being away all weekend. I know that several games take place in the same “universe” though, such as is the case with Echoes and Awakening. I hope you enjoy your time with the game!

And I get how you feel with Breath of the Wild. It’s a game that allows you to pursue your own goals in whatever order you’d like. I went for completing the map first in BotW, because I could. That amount of freedom is rare. I did experience some of it with A Link Between Worlds, but there hasn’t been quite an open experience in a Zelda game since the first one. I’m glad that Nintendo experimented and brought back the series to a modern version of its roots. It’s truly an imagining of where the series could have gone following the first game.

Awesome, look forward to your next review! Thanks for your comments and kind words!

    1. Haha thank you very much! We appreciate it a lot! I’m glad you enjoyed my voices, especially my Toad impression that probably broke my voice, haha! I look forward to playing sometime for sure! 🙂

  4. And yet here I am at 300 and not bothering to get a custom URL because I I’ve got mine memorized. It’s not random but it still has the word user before you put in the channel name so… I don’t know. A custom URL might be too high-end for my style. I usually like watching stuff I haven’t seen and/or wouldn’t play myself so that snake game was neat to see. I also enjoyed the Super Mario Bros. one but maybe it’s because I also read too far into what’s actually happening there 😛 I have yet to watch the Bomberman review… and obviously I can’t watch any Breath of the Wild content until I finish it… but… I’ll get to it. I usually like watching reviews in general, as it helps me realize what I do and don’t want to fall into the habit of doing. Like… ya know… I DO want to organize my thoughts better… but I DON’T want to copy anyone’s style. So it’s a trick. Currently I’ve been playing Breath of the Wild, WarioWare Touched (review coming very soon), Pokemon Shuffle, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, and just recently started up some Mario Kart Super Circuit in preparation for a Mario Kart Week. Basically, I’m spreading myself too thin, ha. But hey, here’s your periodic comment spam to remind you that I’m not dead. So that’s… unfortunate 😉
